19C Victorian Porcelain Brooch w/ Hand Painted Courting Couple Jeweled GF MountsDescriptionI have recently purchased a large collection of hand painted porcelain brooches and necklace pendants from a local estate. They will all be listed on eBay, and sold with no reserve. Please see my other listings for more of these fine pieces of jewelry.This listing is for a 19 th century Victorian porcelain brooch set in yellow gold filled mounts with green and red French paste jewelry. The brooch measures 2 by 2 ½ inches or 5 by 6.3 cm. It is hand painted and shows a courting couple in a landscape setting. It is bezel set in a braided gold filled frame and enhanced with red and green jewels. The brooch has excellent attention to detail throughout. It has a bar pin with C clasp on the back.It is in overall very good condition, with only some minor darkening to the gold filled frame and a couple surface scratches.
