1980's George Brett Game Issued Bat from The Bobby Murcer Collection. We bet Bobby Murcer and George Brett had some spirited talks regarding the finer points of hitting. This Louisville Slugger model C271 bat (32 ounces and 34.25") was probably secured from the bat rack and given to Murcer. Bat rack marks appear on the lumber but there is no pine tar or appreciable use. "George "Lou" Brett" is branded on the barrel. The end is cupped. Brett signed (4/10) the barrel in felt tip ink. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA. Auction LOA from James Spence Authentication. Letter of provenance from Murcer family. Grade: 0, Service: Appraised, Service No.: 2214220
