Index of Orvis Fly Patterns . Volume 1a. By John Harder. 1978. Color photography by William Cheney. Black/White Photography by Richard Disque. This three-ring book binder is loaded with information, instruction, andpictures (both color and black-and-white) on fly tying. In the back, there is a section comprising tying instructions (with 11 basic flies) and a glossary. The pages are removable and are made of thick, glossy paper, with both color and black-and-white photos. The book, overall, is in very nice condition. The outer covers have some surface scratching, a few marks, and some surface wear along the edges, but the pages are clean, crisp, and in great condition. The section tab divider in the last section has some minor fraying / bending. Great book for the fly fisher!
