***PAYPAL ONLY*** Here is a neat item!***Nice rare framed lithograph by listed WPA artist Louis Lozowick. This one is signed and dated "61, and is #12/15. In good shape, the paper has aged some, there are several light brown spots on the paper, this could be restored. Frame is made of wood, simple design, could use a new mat & frame. I have never seen this piece on-line, possibly a new Lozowick discovery! Art measures 8" by 16", frame measures 15" by 24". On the back is a hand-written card (written by Lozowick!) that has ..."Louis Lozowick Provincetown Beach Lithograph $30.00". A nice price back then! I think it has gone up in value a little since then! This was done later in his career when he was more into nature and outdoor scenes, than his earlier Industrial images. Great addition to your collection.**Here is some info on the artist: Louis Lozowick (1892-1973) was a leading Precisionist artist, born in the Ukrainian town of Ludvinovka. He studied at the Kiev Art School from 1903 to 1906, before immigrating to the United States and returning to school in 1912 at the National Academy of Design. He continued his studies at Ohio State University, graduating in 1918, and subsequently entered into the Army Medical Corps, where he served until 1919.
