A gorgeous, chunky vintage modernist style brooch, c.1960s in date. The brooch is in textured goldtone metal which has some slight wear, but nothing significant. The metal forms a four-petal cupped flower shape, which is set with a large glass stone in the centre. The glass stone is gorgeous- 4cm wide, dark, clear blue with wisps and swirls of a darker, more opaque blue and white through the middle. Really pretty, and in excellent vintage condition, approx. 55mm wide with a good safety clasp. A fairly heavy and substantial brooch, ideal for wearing on a coat lapel.
