1960 Vince Lombardi & Emlen Tunnell Signed Green Bay Packers Check. While the Green Bay Packers had plenty of eventual Hall of Famers on their 1958 team, the squad finished with but one win. Things changed when Vince Lombardi entered into what would become known as Titletown U.S.A. One of the first men who helped Lombardi establish a winning team was Emlen Tunnell. The defensive back already had built a Hall of Fame resume and followed Lombardi to Green Bay via New York. This payroll check was issued during Lombardi's second season and is dated to just before the 1960 NFL Championship Game. Lombardi's Mint ball-point signature graces the front while Tunnell's endorsement dances around the bank holes in NM ink.
