1954 Wilson Franks Bob Feller PSA NM-MT 8

Pricing & History
1954 Wilson Franks Bob Feller PSA NM-MT 8. Where Wilson Franks are concerned, next to Williams, Feller is probably the HoFer held in the next highest regard. In 1954, Feller was in the twilight of his Illustrious career that started at the ripe age of 18 years old. The Cleveland squad took the AL pennant that season going 111-43 with Feller posting a 13-3 W-L record. The team was loaded with pitching talent that year and Feller saw himself low man on the victories totem pole. Despite how one feels about the package of hot dogs seemingly floating in thin air, this is one of Feller's best looking cards and among the rarest of his card appearances in the 1950's. Any fan of this set or of Feller needs this card in their collection and this is one of the finest examples on record. The reverse shows one imperfection on an otherwise clean surface. His smiling portrait, unique to this issue, is from top to bottom filled with very rich saturated hues, unblemished and aided by precise registration and overall centering that is a hairline away from perfect. Graded PSA NM-MT 8, one of five examples in NM-MT, there are three graded higher. Grade: 80, Service: PSA, Service No.: 2011796
