Stunning ultra high-grade example of Ted Williams' 1952 Red Man card. Graded NM-MT+ 8.5 by PSA the card appears virtually perfect some extremely inconsequential touches noted at the top edge and upper-left corner. Due to their size and method of distribution coupled with the coupons intended to be trimmed from the bottom Red Man cards are extremely condition-sensitive with high-grade examples highly sought after in the hobby. Among the most beautiful of the 1950s issues the colorful portrait graphics make for an attractive display even in lesser-grade examples but the high-grade specimens truly stand out. In the case of this example none have been graded higher by PSA with just two graded at this level. The Ted Williams card is unquestionably the key card in the set and this is the example in the highest-possible grade making this card one of just two of the most desirable individual 1952 Red Man cards attainable.
