This 1500 yen reserved seat behind the net ticket was for the first postwar game played between a US major league all star team and a Japan Pro Baseball team! This first game of the Tour was played at Korakuen Stadium on 10/20 between the US All Stars and the Yomiuri Giants. Mel Parnell bested Japan HOFer Takehiko Bessho 7-0. The US roster featured Joe and Dom DiMaggio. The team also included Billy Martin, Bobby Shantz and leading hitter on the Tour and future marijuana farmer, Ferris Fain. The Giants team included HOFers Tetsuharu Kawakami and Shigeru Chiba.Size: 4 1/2" x 2 3/4". The ticket has a vertical fold and paper loss on the back.
