This is a very nice vintage metal Hopalong Cassidy metal lunchbox with matching metal thermos made by Aladdin Industries. I do not see a year printed on it but I believe from research it was made in 1950.This is a nice set that displays well. The box is a very rich blue with the cloud-shaped Hopalong decal. It is in good condition but does have some wear. There is some surface "crazing"/roughness and a little corrosion coming through in a few places. There are some scrapes, several tiny dings, one very tiny hole, some light white paint spattering on the back, and the latch is rusty. The lid opens and closes and latch works great. The inside has some areas of paint loss and a rather large name etched into the metal.The thermos is very colorful and in fantastic condition with great graphics. The surface is still shiny and clean. There are a few very tiny spots and a small area of surface roughness. The metal rims and bottom have turned dark. The interior appears intact. There is a faint sandy sound when I shake it.I'm not a collector or expert so please see photos for condition and message me if you have any questions.Please see my other current listings and I will be listing more from of a sizable collection of vintage lunch boxes and thermoses.
