Original RCA Victor Model X552 Recapped - Original paint - Ready to Enjoy For all you radio purists, I have a 1950 RCA Victor all original. Everything about this radio is nice for a 60 year old radio. If you know me, I like to repaint old ivory radios, but this one is too nice to redo. Only minor flea bites and a couple thin scratches with a nice shine still on the paint. The pictures show the true story well. There are no chips or cracks in the bakelite case. The knobs are in perfect shape. The metal mesh around the dial indicator is perfect where as most of these models are dinged up. Both ball feet are in place as is the gold trim rail on top and bottom. The RCA Victor plastic logo is intact as well. The only thing I can see not here is the small sticker on the back that I believe said "Golden Throat". The bottom label is intact and very easy to read. As a bonus, there is an old 50's repair tag still hanging on the cord from Ralph's TV and Appliance Repair out of Kiester Minnesota with phone # AXTEL 4-3226. Electronically I recapped the set and it is picking up all my local stations well. A great radio for your collection.
