2-1/16x2.5". The 1948 Bowman set marked the company's entrance into the baseball card market. The set consists of 48 cards. The 1948 Bowman series also contains a dozen short prints that were removed from the normal 36-card printing sheet to accommodate high-numbered cards (#s 37-48). Strong signature with excellent placement on this rookie card. One of only eight examples on the PSA/DNA Population repoort at this level w/only six graded higher. Stan Musial was was elected to the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1965.
