Dickey, Joe DiMaggio and George Selkirk each had a pair of hits.Boston bounced back in the nightcap, taking an 11-4 decision, as Herb Hash went the distance for the win. The Sox roughed up Yanks starter Monte Pearson, who lasted just one inning. Reliever Steve Sundra took the loss, giving up five runs.
