Here is an awesome die cast airplane, a 1929 Lockheed Air Express. It is an official TEXACO licensed product that was produced by the ERTL Collectibles Co. in 1993. It is the first in the series of various coin bank die cast airplanes ERTL manufactured. This was a short lived airplane as shortly after it made it's first voyage in June 1929, it was lost in an accident in West Palm Beach, Florida in 1930. This beautiful replica is in Brand New condition and has never been out of the box for any use other than to take it's photos for this ad. This adult collectible was never offered for sale in any store. You had to join the club and a different airplane was issued every year at regular member's price. This would make the perfect Christmas gift for the person who collected this series of airplanes and for some reason missed out on this first issue. Next business day shipping is available with clear funds being received on the same business day the item is won.
