HIGHLIGHTS OF RADIO BROADCASTING, by Dr. Alfred N. Goldsmith, 1925Gorgeous volume - Highlights of Radio Broadcasting, by Dr. Alfred N. Goldsmith, and published in 1925 by Radio Corporation of America (RCA). Goldsmith (1888-1974) was a noted electric engineer who became chief broadcast engineer and for RCA and eventually chairman of the board of consulting engineers for the National Broadcasting Company (NBC). RCA was founded in 1919. Many different articles, all by Goldsmith, including:Picking up Broadcast Music Broadcasting from Outside the Studio Giving Horse Power to the Voice Ground Waves and Sky Waves What Selectivity Accomplished Radio Engineering and Phonograph Engineering Chopping Out a Slice of Frequency The Radio Telescope or Directional Receiving Many moreHandsomely and specially bound in dark chocolate brown leather with elaborate gilt detailing on the cover, 5 raised bands and elaborate decorations and titles on the spine. Marbled paper endpapers with gilt edging. Excellent pristine condition - scarce and uncommon. (I can find only one copy listed in WorldCat).
