For auction are two National Biscuit Company/ Uneeda Bakers brass and glass hinged tops for cookie, biscuit and cracker boxes. These were placed on top of a box of Nabisco product and seven as a direct marketing/sales tool as the product could be seen through the glass and could be retrieved by simply opening the hinged door. Both are marked with a patent date of 1923 on their edges and both are in excellent, undamaged condition. The Nabisco label on the one is not as crisp as it is on the other. Each top measures 10 1/2" by 10 3/8". In later years these began to be made of ferrous metal.
