This is a very rare 1910s-1920s lithographed die-cut toy car with people that was made in Japan. I do not think it was for the American market but the Japanese market. In 30 years of dealing in antiques I have never seen one like this. All the pieces are nicely lithographed with separate colors. Each piece is numbered. Instructions are in Japanese of how to put it together. There is also a small printed image showing the car completed. The really amazing thing about this piece is that it is 100% complete; there are no missing pieces. When assembled, the car would be approx. 5" long. This is made of a fairly thick paper. The entire piece measures 10.25" x 7". An incredible piece and it is unlikely you'll find another one.Check out my eBay listings for more neat and obscure antiques.
