Rare NORTHWOOD Glass Company-Opalescent to White Tree Trunk Vase- MINT Condition This Gorgeous and rare 11" Vase bears the "N" , underlined in a circle Trademark on bottom, which identifies it as Authentic Northwood Glass Co. and dates it to 1907-1908. There are other "Tree Trunk" pieces on Ebay, but without the Northwood "N" Mark they should not be sold as authentic Northwood. At the time, Trademark Control was almost non-existent and many other companies copied the Tree Trunk design. This piece has the "N" underlined in a circle Trademark and is documented in the Standard Encyclopedia of Opalescent Glass, 4th Edition. It Measures 11" high, 5" wide at top opening, 3.5" wide at base. The ruffled top edges are asymmetrical, as is the custom, meaning one ruffled side curves slightly higher than the opposite. The flowers naturally fall into the crevices of the ruffles, creating a breath taking bouquet. Gorgeous transition from clear opalescence to white opalescence from bottom to top. PLEASE VIEW ALL 9 PHOTOS ABOVE. Photo #5 Shows "N" Hallmark. It is in MINT Condition- NO chips, NO cracks, NO repairs. MINT! PAYPAL ONLY PLEASE. PAYMENT MUST BE FINALIZED WITH ME WITHIN 24 HOURS OF AUCTION END. PLEASE ASK ALL QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING- NO RETURNS. I SHIP WITHIN THE U.S. and CANADA.
