Wonderful American Child, School Boy designed by Dewees Cochran and produced by Effanbee from 1936 thru 1939. He is 18 inches tall, all composition with a marked Anne Shirley body. He has a human hair wig, painted eyes, closed mouth and nice coloring. The doll is in great condition with minimal, minor crazing and one heavier line that has been sealed at the back and side of his knee. He wears a vintage, most likely original suit, shirt and tie, as well as shoes and socks. This is a wonderful, hard to find doll clean and ready to display, a nice addition to any collection.
