Gravy Boat with Attached Underplate is in EXCELLENT condition. It does not have any cracks, chips or utensil wear. It has NO appreciable gilding wear either. This gravy boat appears to be in fabulous shape. About This Creamer & Sugar: This Haviland & Co. pattern - identified by Arlene Schleiger as SCHLEIGER 1173-2 - was acquired at an estate auction in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. It is some of the cleanest and most elegant we've seen and we prevailed after some of the most contentious bidding seen in the area. And, because we acquired it at a GREAT price, we're passing along our good fortune -- just in time for your holiday dinner planning! With a nice, elegant quality - as only Haviland & Co. could produce - this pattern includes a variety of groupings of pink roses on green stems with leaves and a garland of mini green roses at the edges. It has wonderfully intact gilded highlight swags. Each piece bears 2 marks - one for the manufacturer and one for the decorator. Fortunately, both are from Haviland in Limoges, France.
