Here's a great document for your business or home bar. An original, engraved Retail Liquor Dealer Special Tax Stamp from 1882. This document was first issued to help pay for the Civil War. On the bottom, it states: "Severe Penalities are imposed for neglect or refusal to place and keep this Stamp conspic uously in your establishment or place of business".The engraving on the top center is super with a man sitting next to a moonshine still, kegs and a large wicker wine bottle. The document measures approximately 7 3/4" x 7". There are three hole punches (used to void), in mid area and corners have some old tape residue on them....otherwise, condition is excellent.New to eBay, but I will respond as soon as the auction has ended and ship within 24 hours of payment! Thank you!
