This auction is for an 1880's antique straight razor with an elaborate etched blade for the fraternal order of Mason's, marked on the tang: GEORGE WOSTENHOLM & SONS - CELEBRATED IXL RAZOR - WASHINGTON WORKS - SHEFFIELD - This is an original antique straight razor and not a reproduction made in the last few decades as most of them are. This classic razor features numerous icons, logos and symbols connected to the Masonic Organization etched on the blade, genuine water buffalo scales, and a notched point and true wedge blade. Overall this razor is in very good+ condition with no rust, chips or cracks and it appears the blade was polished in its past history. The handle does have a tiny pin head nick in the small end edge on one side. The blade measures 3" by 13/16" and it weighs 2.1 oz. *As always, no reserve, no buy it now and a very low starting price. *No rules, simply pay and I mail promptly.
