I have here for sale five volumes of the series entitled A Practical Book for Practical Men of the Industries of the World being a complete course of Technical Education for the manufacturer operative and all persons engaged or interested in any of the following subjects. Edited by James Wylde illustrated with engravings diagrams and portraits. Published by the London Printing and Publishing Company. Bound in black hardboards with blind embossing. There are five volumes here missing out the sixth volume only. Vol I - lxxxiv, 1-156 - 7 plates including Bessemer, Brunel and Crompton Vol II - 157-396 - 7 plates including one double and Faraday, Watt - front hinge cracked Vol III - 397-636 - 6 plates including one double and Edison, Stephenson, Cartwright Vol IV - 637-652 plus pages 1-224 - 8 plates including Firth and Davy Vol V - 225-464 - 7 plates including Arkwright, Rennie, Wedgwood I also have a number of other antiquarian and collectable books for sale on Ebay tonight so please I will reduce postage costs considerably for any books after the first one, and for UK customers you can have 5 kilos of books for only £7!
