1873 Domestic by Landers, Frary & Clark New Britain, Ct - Apple Peeler This is The Domestic by Landers, Frary & Clark of New Britain, Connecticut. The apple peeler has 2 unique features. This peeler or parer has the turntable gear inverted, so that parings do not clog the gear and the push-off is a rack and pinion gear. The peeler is marked DOMESTIC LANDERS, FRARY & CLARK PAT. JUNE 10, 1873. This apple peeler or parer appears to be in very good condition. Turns freely - no teeth missing, retains original wood knob and clamp screw.
