This peeler or parer has the turntable gear inverted, so that parings do not clog the gear and the push-off is a rack and pinion gear. The peeler is marked DOMESTIC LANDERS, FRARY & CLARK PAT. JUNE 10, 1873. This apple peeler or parer appears to be in very good condition. Turns freely - no teeth missing, retains original wood knob and clamp screw.
