Here is a Scarce 1839 FIRST EDITION COPY of "THE PEOPLE'S PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE; OR THE LIFE OF WILLIAM HENRY HARRISON, OF OHIO" by Richard Hildreth. Boston: Weeks, Jordan and Company. 1840. There were two editions of this of this presidential campaign promotional edition of this biography in 1839 and 1840 of which this is the FIRST edition. Still bound in it's original bindinding. 211 pages. Book is 6-1/4" x 3-3/4". Original owner's name/ other writing in ink at top of front cover and inside front cover.I have been asked to sell through eBay a substantial collection of presidential history so please consider watching my listings over the next few weeks.
