1826 Charleston SERVANT Slave Hire Badge, Number 1677. In exceptional condition. Stamped on the reverse with the imprint of the maker "Lafar," this slave hire badge has a lovely chocolate brown patina. So many of this type have been excavated, but this one has a nice surface and sharp, clear lettering and numbers. 48 mm x 53 mm. Grade: 0, Service: Other, Service No.: 0
