1792 Revolutionary War Surgeon Autograph Deed ENOCH EDWARDS Charles Biddle PAHistorically sinificant 1792 Vellum Deed between Enoch Edwards and the Drouillard brothers for a Bybery Philadelphia property paying 3600 pounds in silver or gold coin! I could not find and other documents being sold with the signature of Enoch Edwards. This documents has the autographs / signatures of several historical figures! Including Enoch Edwards and his wife Frances, Enoch was a Revolutionary War surgeon who may have attended to George Washington himself. Thomas Jefferson celebrated at his house the night he signed the Declaration of Independence! It is also signed by Charles Biddle, his brother James Biddle, Nathaniel Irwin and Pierre LeBarbier Duplissis Sr (1748-1815) who was the Grand Secretary of the Masonic Lodge in Philidelphia during the time Washington was President. The property was bought by Jean- Vincent -Amédée Drouillard and Jean Baptiste Drouillard, both sugar plantation owners from New Orleans.The deed includes a hand written brief outlining the history of the property back to William Penn.
