Rare Early Antique Heinrich Handwerck Ebony bisque head doll, 1855~on, free from chips, cracks or hairlines and marked on the back. A few typical minor wig pulls/surface scratches. Composition body is in very nice condition with age related wear, stringing a little loose, however she holds a pose well on a stand or in a sitting position. Chocolate brown glass sleep eyes w/ fully working eye mechanism, coral lips, antique factory pate, mohair wig cascading w/ soft curls and short bangs framing her pretty face. Antique Victorian dress w/ matching pantaloons, blue feather chapeau and antique blue glass earrings from France~ and no chips at her ear openings is a plus. Starting at a low bid due to any imperfections. All in all she is a nice old doll with an elegant womanly presence and beautiful antique costume.
