16" HEINRICH HANDWERCK SIMON HALBIG ON COMPOSITION BODY PIERCED EARS HH WIG

This auction is for a 16" Heinrich Handwerck / Simon Halbig antique Bisque head doll. She is on a ball jointed, composition body which is in good condition except for repaired damage to one foot. She has all fingers fingers. Her body has a nice finish. There are no cracks in the head, but there is a rim chip where the Pate rests. The rest of the head has a beautiful, creamy complexion. She also has pierced ears. She has a Human Hair Wig, made in France. She has antique blue glass eyes on a rocker. These have been reset and do open and close nicely. She is wearing an outfit that was made for her by her owner. The doll will be shipped with the head stuffed so the eyes are protected. The wig and pate will be lightly glued back on.All in all, this doll looks lovely on display!I have included several pictures to show the condition. Please enlarge them for the best view.
