12thC CHINESE PAINTING MASTERPIECE INSPIRED TAPESTRYCHILDREN PLAYING IN GARDEN'You are being offered a Chinese Woven Rayon Tapestry that was inspired by the Song Dynasty Masterpiece Painting titled "Children Playing in Garden" by the renowned 12th Century Court Painter Su Han-Chin and it depicts Two Children Playing a Game in a Garden on an Autumn Day and it has the Red Seals of the Qing Dynasty’s Qianlong Emperor along with a Poem that he wrote to express his appreciation of the Painting in the Upper Left Corner. The Tapestry was made in Taipei, Taiwan by the China Man-Made Fiber Corporation during the Late 1950’s or 1960’s and it has a Full Description of the Tapestry and the Original Painting on its Reverse Side. The Tapestry measures 21 inches high and 10¾ inches wide and it is Matted and Framed under Glass in a Gold Painted Wood Frame that measures 26¼ inches high and a little over 15¼ inches wide. Aside from minor signs of wear on its Frame, the Tapestry is in Very Good to Excellent Condition, without any issues whatsoever. Please refer to the photographs on the left for further details.
