12" REEF SHARK JAWS jaw teeth taxidermy sharks Description 12" Shark Jaws (Reef Shark) This is a shark jaw from a Reef Shark ( Carcharinus amblyrhynchos ) measuring 12" in width with 4-5 rows of teeth reaching 1.1cm in length in the upper jaw (as expected there are several missing teeth which occurs due to natural feeding damage). The jaw is in reasonable overall condition - the cartilage shows the usual degree of erosion and discolouration that you would expect in this size range. A great collectors piece particularly as the jaw is a legitimate product of fishing by-catch (all of the shark jaws listed in my eBay shop come from this source).
