3 1/2 Inch Tall Bisque Modern Repro Kewpie Doll ****************************************** Kewpies were created in the 1920’s by Rose O’Neil to become a popular good luck charm for many a flapper of the era. With their little pot bellies and tiny blue wings they were the embodiment of the cute and madcap jazz age. Here is a modern reproduction produced and marked on the back Nancy Rob 1990. Made of flesh colored bisque and fired this Kewpie has the required blue wings and even has a tiny something extra. Extra? This little cutie is anatomically correct and is certainly a boy.
