Emilio Pucci was born on November 20, 1914, in Florence, Italy. He opened his first boutique in 1949 on the Italian island of Capri. In 1950 he established Emilio of Capri, with boutiques in Capri, Florence, Rome, Elba, and Montecatini. Emilio Pucci died in 1992, and his daughter Laudomia Pucci took charge of the company. The House worked with designers like Christian Lacroix, Matthew Williamson or Peter Dundas. This particular Emilio Pucci clothing label is from a 1970s vintage fur coat.
