McGregor was a mainland manufacturer of Aloha Shirts from SUA. The president of McGregor, David Donager, would travel from New York to Hawaii once a year to purchase Hawaiian textile art and relax on the shoreline at Waikiki Beach. The Aloha Shirt was first sold at "Musashi-ya Shoten" in Honolulu. "Musashi-ya" was established by Japanese immigrant Chotaro Miyamoto in 1904. This particular clothing label is from a Hawaiian shirt.
