Raymond and his wife, Mildred began hand blocking material in 1941 in Honolulu. They formed Malihini Sportswear in 1946 with 10 sewing machines. Malihini was a prolific manufacture of gorgeous Aloha Shirts. The Aloha Shirt was first sold at "Musashi-ya Shoten" in Honolulu. "Musashi-ya" was established by Japanese immigrant Chotaro Miyamoto in 1904. This particular clothing label is from a Hawaiian shirt.
