The Liberty House's retail roots go back to 1850, and by the time Hawaii became a State in 1959, Liberty House had a block long upscale department store in downtown Honolulu. They were selling Aloha shirts also. The Aloha Shirt was first sold at "Musashi-ya Shoten" in Honolulu. "Musashi-ya" was established by Japanese immigrant Chotaro Miyamoto in 1904. This particular clothing label is from a Hawaiian shirt.
