Kuu-Ipo was a label owned by Wah Cho Lock who also owned their parent company Hale Hawaii which he started in 1948. Kuu-Ipo is the Hawaiian word for sweetheart. The Aloha Shirt was first sold at "Musashi-ya Shoten" in Honolulu. "Musashi-ya" was established by Japanese immigrant Chotaro Miyamoto in 1904. This particular clothing label is from a Hawaiian shirt.
