Hilo Hattie was a popular Hawaiian singer and entertainer in the 1940s. The Hilo Hattie stores were founded by Richard and Evelin Margolis in 1965. The Aloha Shirt was first sold at "Musashi-ya Shoten" in Honolulu. "Musashi-ya" was established by Japanese immigrant Chotaro Miyamoto in 1904. This particular clothing label is from a Hawaiian shirt.
