Hawaiian Togs was started in 1947 in Honolulu, Hawaii, by Lillian and Clifford Wong. Their mostly cotton fabrics came from Japan with island flavored patterns. In 1978 Clifford and Lillian decided to retire and liquidated Hawaiian Togs. The Aloha Shirt was first sold at "Musashi-ya Shoten" in Honolulu. "Musashi-ya" was established by Japanese immigrant Chotaro Miyamoto in 1904. This particular clothing label is from a Hawaiian shirt.
