Mark with Clothing label : Harper Sportswear. | #407607

Harper was a mainland company and had a simple label with its name spelled out with all letters in lower case letters. Large mainland companies inspired by the Hawaiian Aloha Shirts created summer lines with their own versions of printed shirts. The Aloha Shirt was first sold at "Musashi-ya Shoten" in Honolulu. "Musashi-ya" was established by Japanese immigrant Chotaro Miyamoto in 1904. This particular clothing label is from a Hawaiian shirt.
