Mark with Clothing label : Guymont. | #407595

Guymont was a trademark filed in 1951 by the Washington Manufacturing Company based in Nashville, Tennessee. Like many mainland garment manufacturers in the early 1950's, they created their own interpretation of the Aloha Shirts. The Aloha Shirt was first sold at "Musashi-ya Shoten" in Honolulu. "Musashi-ya" was established by Japanese immigrant Chotaro Miyamoto in 1904. This particular clothing label is from a Hawaiian shirt.
