Eugene Rodier started his own company in 1848 in Paris, France. During the 1920s and 1930s Rodier produced many different fabrics for Jean Patou and the Rodier family partially financed Patou's expansion during the 1920s. 1966 was an important date for Rodier, as they crossed the 2 milion items per year sales threshold. In 2012, a new style was launched, with Emilie Luc Duc as the artistic director. This particular Rodier clothing label is from a 1990s sweater.
