Biberman Brothers Inc. created the L'Aiglon label in 1919 in Philadelphia. After its founder suicide in 1933, the company survived. During the 1950s, L'Aiglon dresses were used as costumes on the soap opera, The Edge of Night. The company was closed in 1968. This particular L'Aiglon clothing label is from a 1930s dress.
