Jack Izod established a tailor shop called Izod in London in 1938. In the 1940s Izod was bought by the American firm David Crystal. They signed an agreement with Lacoste in 1952. Izod was bought by Van Heusen in 19995. This particular Izod clothing label is from a 1960s sweater.
