David Crystal founded the company in 1906. It was a manufacturer rather than a designer. In 1952, David Crystal Company started to manufacure shirts and polo shirts for Lacoste. General Mills bought the company in 1968 and close it in the 1990s. Haymaker was a sportswear label that was a division of the David Crystal company. This particular Haymaker clothing label is from a 1940s golf dress.
