Mr. Lew Harris moved to London in 1919 to start a clothing manufacturing business called L. Harris Harella Limited. The operation moved to Halifax in the 1940s. In 1963 the company was taken over by Selincourt Group. The factory closed in 1979. This particular Harella clothing label is from a 1960s coat.
