Mary Ann DeWeese was born in 1913 in Kansas. She started her career in 1934 working for Los Angeles Knitting Mills. In 1951 she established her own company, DeWeese Designs, which produced sportswear and swimwear. The business was closed during the 1980s. This particular DeWeese Design clothing label is from a 1950s sundress.
