John G. Bullock founded Bullock's in Los Angeles, California, in 1907. It was a department store which opened its second location in 1929, a luxury branch on Wilshire Boulevard. In the early 1970s, Bullock's merged with the Federated Department Store and the brand droped its apostrophe becaming Bullocks Wilshire. In 1996 Bullocks Wilshire stores were either closed or renamed as Macy's. This particular Bullock's clothing label is from a 1950s blouse.
