The Philadelphia Phillies are a team with a long history that began in 1883 with the name of Philadelphia Quakers, a name which was changed quickly into the Philadelphia Phillies. The team used several stadiums, but since 2004 they have used Citizen Bank Park as their home stadium. The Philadelphia Phillies won two World Series titles in 1980 against the Kansas City Royals, and in 2008 against the Tampa Bay Rays. Their best player of all time is considered to be Mike Schmidt, a third baseman who played 18 seasons for the Philadelphia Phillies.
