The logo in this image is a New York Mets special event logo. It was used from 1964 to 1965. The New York Mets was established in 1962 and has kept that name ever since. They started with Polo Grounds as their home stadium, but changed to Shea Stadium, and then in 2009, they moved to Citi Field. The New York Mets won two World Series titles, one in 1969 and one in 1986. Tom Seaver is considered to be the best player of the New York Mets.
